Danish Startup Group and Basque Culinary Center are offering the big TECHBBQ stage to find the best Danish gastro & Foodtech startup 2024. Nomination and registration is now open where the top four startups will showcase their solution during this year’s TECHBBQ.
The Danish Gastro & Foodtech Startup of the Year award was established during the Covid pandemic as an initiative to strengthen and encourage entrepreneurs in the Danish food sector to stay positive in harsh times and to make an impact with their solutions. A very important agenda for Denmark, in order to stay on top in terms of innovation, and as a leading country with top restaurants in the world.
Previous editions of this award and competition have brought the Danish industry together with industry leaders, local entrepreneurs, investors and food enthusiasts to explore the hottest food startups, sharing inspiration, and pave the way for the future key solutions and leaders of food and foodtech. This year, we are thrilled to announce a collaboration with TECHBBQ, where the top four Danish food startups will take on their big stage and pitch in front of thousands of guests, food enthusiasts, selected jury of industry leaders and tech lovers. The winning startup will be recognized as the best Danish Food/FoodTech startup 2024, and a chance to travel to Spain to compete against other local winners from countries like Japan, USA, Argentina and more.
